Deposit Protection Service
The Deposit Protection Service (The DPS) is the only custodial scheme authorised by the Government. We require that the money you paid to your landlord/letting agent is physically paid over to us to safeguard for the duration of the tenancy. The deposit will be repaid at the end of the tenancy when both parties have reached agreement on its distribution.
Bowson is proud to be a member of SAFE (Safe Agent Fully Endorsed). Letting agents displaying the SAFEagent logo are part of a Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme which ensures that they are protecting their clients monies.
The Property Ombudsman
The Property Ombudsman (TPO) scheme has been providing consumers and property agents with an alternative dispute resolution service for 25 years and provides consumers with a free, impartial and independent alternative dispute resolution service.
For tenants and landlords the NALS logo means instant peace of mind. The National Approved Letting Scheme is an independent licensing scheme. This means we meet defined standards of customer service, are part of a Client Money Protection Scheme and have a customer complaints procedure offering independent redress.
