Who we are
Bowson is an independent estate and letting agency in Newcastle upon Tyne. We’ve been selling, letting and managing homes here since 2000.
Being independent means the decisions about your sale or your tenancy are made in our two offices, by the people who work the streets around them. Most of that work is in Jesmond, Heaton, High Heaton, Gosforth, Benton and Wallsend, and further out from there.
We also write about what we’re seeing in the local market, in plain English, on our blog and our YouTube channel.
What we stand for
Two streets apart in the same postcode can mean a different buyer, a different rent and a different council. That knowledge comes from working these areas every day, and it’s what our advice is built on.
Plenty of property questions don’t have one answer. We’d rather say it depends, and explain what it depends on, than give a neat answer that turns out to be wrong. When our own advice isn’t working, we say so first.
Our job isn’t to talk anyone into anything. It’s to put the evidence, the options and the risks in front of you, so whatever you decide, you decide it with the full picture.
Working with us
You’ll deal with people who know you by name, and whose names you know. There’s no call centre.
You shouldn’t have to ask where things are up to. Updates come from us, whether or not there’s news.
We’ve worked these streets since 2000, and we’d like to be the agent you come back to next time.
Our own team takes the photographs, makes the films and handles day-to-day maintenance on the homes we manage.
